Rick's astronomy jewelry was started in January
2006. Richard (Rick) Owens is the sole
proprietor of the business. Rick is an amateur
astronomer and astrophotographer. Rick is also
a founder and lifetime member of (ICAS) Island
County Astronomical Society. He is also has
membership in the following clubs and
organizations: (ASKC) Astronomical Society of
Kansas City, The Planetary Society,
Astronomical Society of the Pacific and the
Night Sky Network. His love for astronomy is the
foundation behind the jewelry designs and
products offered at this website. Rick is also a
veteran of 20 years of Naval Service. He was a
Naval Aircrewman on P-3 Orions and has served
on the aircraft carrier USS America. The
photographs displayed on this website are the
copyright of Richard Owens unless otherwise
noted. Rick's business in located in
Warrensburg MO. Rick is currently involved with
his own astronomical facility named Rolling Hills
Observatory.
